Problem:
- The user has to continuously update the browser and its add-ons.
- This forces to have to wait a long period of time while the browser and extensions are updated.
Proposal for improving the User Experience for Firefox updates:
- Do not force the user to apply the latest update before start the browser.
- Allow the user to consult the information associated with each update.
- Allow the user to apply with one click all updates and add-ons of the browser.
Box appears when the user selects the option “Check for updates” in the “Help” menu:

Improving the Firefox updates
- Tab Candy o la evolución de los sistemas operativos según Mozilla
- Compartir para hacer un navegador social (y más humano)
- Two ideas to humanize and improve the URL's information visualization on Firefox 4.5
- Sobre la usabilidad de la barra de estado de los navegadores
- Jerarquizar capas de la interfaz mediante sombras: Laterales de la barra de tabs de Firefox 4

Great suggestion, and nice mockup. Overall I think we are going to try to make the update process silent for all of the minor updates, but for major updates I like how this consolidates information about both the product and the customizations. (btw, sorry about the lag to approve your comment over on my blog, was out of the office for thanksgiving).

Thank your for the comment Alex :-) Nice idea the concept for the minor updates and yes, perhaps, for the major updates is better give the user all the control about the proccess of updates.
